Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a grappling based martial art . Developed from Japanese Jiu-Jitsu, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu refocused its attacks on ground techniques that use leverage and timing instead of strength and speed allowing a smaller person to successfully defend themselves against a larger opponent. Whether for self defense or physical fitness Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is the ideal martial art for people of all sizes.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu came to international prominence through mixed martial arts (referred to as MMA), and specifically the Ultimate Fighting Championship® (UFC®).With the use of joint-locks and choke holds smaller practioners were able to dominate early competition. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is now a staple of MMA training and is now essential to developing a ground game for the fighting sport of MMA. Sport Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu has also grown to worldwide popularity with a wide range of competitors of different ages, genders, sizes and ranks.

Muay Thai

Muay Thai or Thai boxing is the national sport of Thailand. This martial art style is known for its rigorous work ethic and use of multiple body parts as striking weapons. Muay Thai uses elbow strikes, knees in a clinched position, and kicks with the shin bone to help make it one of the world's most dynamic and devastating fighting arts.

Muay Thai was evolved from its father arts of Muay Boran and the weapons based Krabi Kabrong. Originally developed by the people of Thailand to defend its borders from their warring neighbors, Muay Thai is quickly becoming the martial art of Thai military. Later, the battlefield proven Muay Thai became the in-ring sport beloved and trained today across the world.Muay Thai training methods are known for developing great speed, power and overall physical conditioning.

Judo

Judo stresses the principle of minimum force, maximum efficiency which makes this style suitable for men, women and children of all ages. Judo literally translates as the gentle way incorporating various techniques such as throws (Nage-Waza), holds (Osae-Komi-Waza), arm locks (Kansetsu-Waza), and Chokes (Shime-Waza).

In addition to being an Olympic sport since 1964, there have been several popular off shoots of this discipline such as Russian Sambo and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.Both of which that are grounded in Judo.
